Organizational Consultant, Coach
Gloria has over 20 years experience as an executive coach and organization
development expert. Her work has extends internationally through
her blend of humor, practicality, analytical thinking, the foundation
of a doctorate in Leadership, and creativity. She has facilitated
teambuilding and planning off-sites for various clients in many
settings and is an author, national conference presenter, and Board
member of a public service law firm.
Industry Experience:
Gloria is the president of Change Studio, Inc. DBD as The Bader
Group, a 14 year-old management consulting firm specializing in
leadership, executive and team development, organizational assessments,
and action learning. Previously she was the Corporate Director,
Organization and Management Development for Sharp HealthCare, a
vertically integrated health care system of 10,000 employees in
San Diego. Prior to that, Gloria was responsible for management
development at Cubic, Corp, an aerospace firm. She was a Resident
Dean for the University of California, San Diego, chair of two art
departments, and an Outward Bound instructor.
Consulting Experience:
Gloria has facilitated leadership development and organizational
renewal for clients as diverse as manufacturing firms and medical
schools. Her approach combines efficient data collection and analysis,
client involvement, trustworthiness, creativity, systems thinking,
and action. Ninety percent of her clients are repeat business and
they include: Solar Turbines (winner of the 1998 Malcolm Baldrige
National Quality Award), Inter-American Development Bank, Environmental
Protection Agency, Elan Pharmaceuticals, Phelps-Dodge, Island Data
Corporation (e-commerce), and IKEA North America.
