Caryn Staebler

Caryn is an Organizational Psychologist who specializes in the
areas of organization, team, and leadership development. Her expertise
is built on a strong education in organizational behavior and over
ten years of experience coaching executives, senior managers, and
teams to improve their ability to achieve outstanding performance.
Caryn has a track record for building alignment and capability of
executive and critical operating teams to work together and get
results. She gains credibility with diverse clients through her
own leadership experiences, strong business focus, and challenging
yet supportive approach.
Consulting Experience:
Caryn has consulted to organizations in the academic, service,
manufacturing, high-tech, financial, creative, and entertainment
industries with clients as diverse as start-ups to Fortune 500 companies
and non-profits. Her client list includes work with Anheuser-Busch,
AT&T, Qualcomm, University of California-SD CEO Connect, Maxim
Pharmaceuticals, Overland Data, SeaWorld, San Diego Convention Center,
Emerson Electric, DePaul Hospital, Sara Lee, May Company, Saint
Louis University, Stifel, Nicolaus & Company, and the Center
for Organizational Learning & Renewal. She has consulted multiple
years with a Leadership Academy for a Fortune 500 Insurance &
Financial Services Company to develop leaders in a company undergoing
major cultural transition. Her ongoing responsibilities include
developing and delivering leadership programs, conducting survey-based
organization change workshops, leadership coaching, executive team
building and the development & implementation of talent review
& identification processes. She has also been an adjunct feedback
coach for the Center for Creative Leadership where she facilitates
coaching sessions and delivers one-on-one coaching to improve leader
effectiveness.
Industry Experience:
Prior to her external consulting experiences, Caryn served as the
Vice President of Organization Development at Anacomp, Inc. in San
Diego, where she worked directly with the CEO and executive team
on leadership development, strategy, and large-scale organization
change. She also has several years of corporate experience as an
internal consultant to leaders at Anheuser-Busch in St. Louis. In
both organizations, she was responsible for developing and implementing
corporate-wide initiatives (including succession planning, leadership
development, employee surveys, conflict resolution programs, business
process re-engineering, and measurement systems) and supporting
several executive teams in visioning, strategy planning, and teamwork.
